Start your day the right way for peak performance. Whether your stay with us is for leisure or business, you'll need to fuel up and head out to explore the history and wilderness surrounding Talkeetna. Try our Smoked Salmon Hash  or our Ricotta Pancakes.  On the lighter side, order the Bagels and Lox for a unique flavor to start your day!

Try our Root Vegetable Chips as starter, or taste the fresh made soup. Lunch specialties include Fish and Chips, in the form of panko-breaded Alaskan halibut, Halibut Tacos, and a gourmet selection of burgers, sandwiches and more. Keep an eye out for Mt. McKinley while having lunch at Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.

Bistro Menu (432k PDF)

Casual dining in a relaxed atmosphere with a mountain view. The Base Camp Bistro offers down-home favorites including Lodge Meat Loaf, Beer Braised Short Ribs, salads and lighter fare. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying the view from the deck.

Executive Chef Matthew Zimny uses the freshest herbs and seafood to create mouth-watering sensations that will awaken your palate. Try the Pacific Rim Poke or Truffle Mac and Cheese to begin your meal. Then for your entree', indulge in Alaska King Crab Legs or Pan-Roasted Frenched Elk Loin or one of our in-house Smoked and Fifteen-Day Dry Aged Ribeye Steaks.  Add a glass of wine from our extensive wine menu, recognized by Wine Spectator magazine with their Award of Excellence for the past six years.

Plan ahead and order the meals for your meetings and special events. We'll arrange a private room for your guests to dine in, allowing them the opportunity to network with coworkers during a conference or visit with family members attending a wedding.

Group Dining Menu (25k PDF)

Many of our groups prefer to prearrange a group dining menu for their tour group members. Our group dining menu makes planning and budgeting easy for everyone. Each group dining option allows meeting planners to maintain their budget by assigning a fixed cost to the meals on a per person basis. While at the same time, our menu choices within each meal budget give guests the opportunity to choose what they prefer to eat without being limited by a preset entree'.
